lendefi collects the minimum data necessary to operate a compliant cryptocurrency exchange. This includes your email address, KYC identity documents, wallet addresses, and transaction records.

We also collect device and session data — IP address, browser type, and access timestamps — for security monitoring and fraud prevention. This data is never sold to third parties.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to verify your identity, process trades, detect fraudulent activity, and meet legal reporting obligations. lendefi does not use personal data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

lendefi uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and remember your authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in between page loads.

Data Sharing

lendefi shares data only with licensed KYC providers, blockchain analytics services required for AML compliance, and government authorities when legally compelled. All third-party processors are contractually bound to GDPR-equivalent standards.

Data Security

All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. lendefi conducts independent security audits twice per year and publishes summaries publicly.

Access to personal data within lendefi is role-restricted — only personnel with a verified operational need can view KYC records, and all access is logged and auditable.

Your Rights

Data Retention

Transaction records and KYC data are retained for 7 years to satisfy AML and financial reporting obligations. Account data is deleted within 90 days of a verified account closure request.

Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy was last updated January 1, 2026. lendefi will notify users by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. The current version is always posted on the lendefi platform.
